Getting Started - Verifying Users

1. Go to https://bind.ie/start and click on “Install”
2. From the Discord form use the dropdown to select the server for which you want to add Bind.
3. Allow all permissions. (If you want to remove a specific permission read this page → LINK)

A Bind workspace has now been created for your account, and the Bind bot will have been added to your chosen server. Next, you need to create a verification channel for your users to verify their email.

1. In the Roles tab of your Bind Workspace, click on “New Segment”.
2. Click on “Verified Members” and next.
3. Pick an existing Discord role for your verified members or create a new one.
4. Check the info, and click on “Create Role”.
5. Click on “Create Channel” to create the verification channel on your Discord Server.

Now you are set up! You should encourage your server members to verify their profiles to get your new role. You can have a look at how many users have verified their profiles by going to the “Roles” tab of your workspace, and clicking into the “Verified Users” segment.
